I'd be lying if I said that my heart didn't have a thousand and one scars from girls in my past that I once liked. It's part of the package. And sometimes, it fucking hurts.

If I were you, I wouldn't remain friends. I say this only because you are still looking to get her back. I generally need several months of no contact to deal with my emotions if it's a girl I really liked.

Reflect on how you're feeling, and if you're up to it, try to learn from the experience. What you did right vs. what you did wrong.

We each have our own idea of value, so people with Ferraris and Porsches (and with cool personalities, as you eluded to) don't generally intimidate me. A Dallas socialite whom I dated for ~ 2.5 months, and whom I dumped around 3 weeks ago for reasons not pertaining to this thread, once told me in bed that she found it really sexy how confident I was around her and her friends, since most people are intimidated. Her closest guy friend has a house on South lake, drove a Ferrari, and had his own company. For whatever reason, that stuff doesn't affect me. And if it affects you in the slightest, the nascent insecurities it causes will eventually show.
