Smirks, thanks for the great explanation!

It seems like whatever you do, you're trying to get her to put some thought into what's happening, what it means, etc (ie invest, lol). The examples help me a lot. I'll definitely be integrating this into my game. I just have to determine my style and adjust it to that.

That's 90% of pickup :) Glad to have been helpful. I haven't posted anything remotely helpful in months...maybe I'll start up again?!

Glad that I could inspire you, lol :-) You should definitely start posting again!

Everyone here has been very helpful. Thanks for warning me and bringing to my attention to keep the context of the advice and pointing out common misconceptions!

Listen man, I'm not going to pretend that any one of us is the balls at PU. Sure, some are better than others. Well, I wouldn't say 'better' I'd say 'better' at different things. I've seen a lot of these guys pull ass on a regular basis so we all know what's up.

This is a classic example, and should put all of you lurkers and noobs on notice, of how to interact with the Community in a constructive way.

Most of the elders here have uber amounts of experience and we know our shit. In other words, we know our game very intimately. We may have different styles, but we still know what works for us and we try to share those tactics and techniques.

The fact is that we have an amazing resource here at Dallas Lair. When I first joined (a couple of years ago), I didn't feel like I was getting very good advice/feedback. But, today is totally different. We have at least a solid dozen very legit PUAs on here. And, you can benefit from all of that experience and knowledge if you approach us in the right way.

Sooners123 approached everyone with humility and a genuine eagerness to learn. He understood that all of the feedback he was getting was constructive and never took anything personally. This is exactly how it should be done so that everyone gets the most out of the interaction (the noobs learn from the elders, while the elders understand their game more by helping the noobs).

There's nothing worse than a noob rolling into the Community and having zero sense of humility and respect for those that have been through the shit. For those of us that have had nights were nothing worked AND nights were everything worked. The guys that had dry spells for weeks at a time AND hot streaks that seemed way too short. That experience and wisdom has got to be respected and at least listened to, if not followed.

Anyway, kudos to you Sooners123!!! I can tell from your demeanor that you're going to go a long way in PU. Keep up the good work bro.
