I think that is the whole thing with peacocking. By dressing like that by doing so, you're inviting guys to come bust on you. Only a confident guy capable fo dealing with this would continue to dress in a way that stands out...an AFC would get tooled on a few times and then start dressing to blend in.

It's not unlike how the peacock's tail developed into a mating advantage. Only the badass males could tug this huge ass tail around and still avoid preditors, so having a large tail, which is a physical hinderance to the peackock, became an indicator of the male's ability to compensate and overcome it.

In the same way, when you peacock, you demonstrate that you are capable of dealing with the AMOGing/teasing you'll recieve because of it.

NUK, about that compass-- There are Ten things you really should know:
Five things involve how to orient the human body.
Two how to position the bed.
One long thread on Feng Swui (Literal translation wind/water)- how the NWSE orientation of everything effects the energy connection of life [chick crack, and DHV].
And amusing one liners to the inevitable "Why do you have a compass around your neck" question...
GPS doesn't work indoors. Duh!
I tried bread crumbs, and this is 10 times more effective.

It's also a lead in to several DHV stories I have about traveling the world and not getting lost. Always being prepared.

And to be honest, it was an experiment. It may prove to be too geeky, nerdy and strange to work. Only field experiments will tell.

Cool. What have you found since this post?
