What's in a Lair? That which we call Dallas PUA, by any other name, would... what?

For me the point of a lair is to get together with other local guys and sarge, or to have events. The online portion is good for sharing stories and suggestions with other guys I've met or might meet in RL. Presumably they become friends and acquaintances, not just handles. Without that, I might as well be on ASF or the MM Forums.

So yeah, there could be value in a Ft. Worth lair in the sense that the FW guys could get together more easily with each other at local FW places instead of going to Dallas-centric events.

As for the online portion, I don't see a downside to discussing stuff here. Especially since there is some "crossover" in the sense that Dallas and FW guys do hang out sometimes.

And for that matter, nothing stops FW guys from announcnig sarging events of their own. "Hey all FW-area guys, we're going to be at bar X at time Y, let's go tear it up. Reply to this thread if interested."

I agree. there is no reason why they would have to leave us to start organizing. I would go to ftwpua.com just to see how the guys out west are doing. How about in the interim we set up a fort worth section in this forum?

I guess you're right. I don't see what stops the Fort Worth guys from using what already exists as a medium to organize events and meetings. If you want a new medium, that's fine, I just don't get it.

Unless you want it to be more private, exclusive to Fort Worth people, so guys from Dallas and Texarkana don't come and crash your party and mess up the vibe. That I can totally understand.

There is nothing wrong with Dallas PUA! I mainly wanted to see if anyone was interested in or thought there was a need for a FTW lair. If there's no need, so be it.
