Thank you. This is really awesome advice, and it really has altered my perspective on things. It presents a dilema. This Saturday, there is a big party that I am obligated to be at as part of the entertaintment. There is no doubt in my mind that she is going to be there, but I am obligated to go. I'm not sure how I'm going to handle this. Maybe only be there as long as I need to? Maybe cancel out?

I feel like if I can just get over that hump, I can play the next few months smart and totally avoid her.

Go to the party, but I'd make other plans for later in the night that you absolutely, positively have to attend. So, you stay for a while, socialize with your friends (be sure to at least say hi to her) then jet. Don't cancel, it makes you look bad.

Fuzz,

It's been two months since I broke up with my LTR of 4.5 years. I still cared about her at the time of breakup and it was on good terms. The things that have helped me get over her is the following:

1) Stopped seeing her
2) Get closure. Say what you want to say to her asap
3) Go out...meet other people. Once you connect with a couple of them, you make the realization that even though your ex was "special", you have the ability to form that connection with others
4) Stay busy
5) Accept it
6) Get comfortable seeing her out. I mean...same thing you do with AA or similar things. You densensitize yourself.

Not really pua inner game shit. Just handle it like a normal person would

Dude i know exactly how you feel, but i have 3 magic words for you "Fuck That Bitch!". I tell myself this every time my ex's face pops into my head and after words i feel refreshed.
