What's wrong with tight pants, those are awesome. And I'd wear a tux to sherlocks, an alpha male is immune to social pressure. So what if you stand out, you want to make maximum social impact. I do agree though that you can go too far on peacocking and be a dancing monkey. Subtle things are the best. Just my thoughts.
And next time we go to locks I'll wear a tux for the hell of it ;)

i agree that you shouldnt let social pressure dictate what you wear, but i feel that you can have more social impact by other means rather than wearing something that stands out. if you want to have social impact, why not open and socialize with everyone? im sure you would get opened with a tux(or something equally outlandish), but i truly believe that it does more harm than good...
think about it, if you were in lower greenville and opened some chick wearing a prom dress and tiara only to discover that she did not come from some special/social event, but rather, just wearing it for the hell of it, what would you think? more than likely, that shes a little off, a bit WEIRD. i cant say for sure how a girls will interpret a guy wearing a tux to sherlocks just for the hell of it. maybe she might think youre carefree, cool and fun, but the majority will probably think youre a little bit off...is that what you want women to think when youre trying to game her?
as i said in my original post, it doesnt matter what everyone else thinks as long as you are comfortable and confident with what youre wearing. if you feel that your outfit will have no negative effect on your game, then by all means, rock it!

I agree here.
I think sometimes the message gets lost with peacocking.. All you are trying to do is display that you can withstand some social pressure and go outside the norm and be your own man. No women wants a douchebag that can't socially calibrate. I saw a dude wearing a lasertag vest all night at sherlocks awhile back. That's not peacocking. That's being an idiot. Sad thing is, I suspect he is part of the community, although I did not recognize him, and it was so bad, I did not want to even go talk with him to find out.
It can't be that far off from the norm or the message is lost that you know how to stretch boundaries, but rather you just don't know what they are.
