Back in college, a buddy of mine and I created a 'dating resume.' I forget all that it had on there, but it was pretty funny and clever...or so we thought.

Anyway, we handed them out a couple of times to girls. Some thought it was funny, some thought it was pathetic. Eventually, we realized that the girls that were probably going to like us no matter what enjoyed the resume. It was just an excuse for them to engage in conversation with us. The girls that didn't respond generally thought it was weird to put so much time into something (i.e. creating a resume) just to meet a stranger...it reeked of poor social skills.

I like to give out my business card so not only do they have my personal #, but they know where I work and can find other people who work there because most people are insane and do shit like this.
