as for your other question - a day of shopping with a girl...might as well be handing her to you on a silver platter. i can't think of many easier scenarios. if you're a decently social guy, to answer your question, the way to avoid the highway to the friend zone is pretty easy as well. if you're a cool guy, my advice is to turn the conversation to sexual innuendo, sex, and anything sexual. but that takes a certain touch to be able to do right and not creep people out.

First of all, you probably texted her both invitations and it's much harder to convey humor or sarcasm over a text than a telephone call. Second, blind shopping isn't exactly cute and fun for a girl. Shopping to girls is an event, a thing to do, like men playing golf. They do it for fun! Girls want to go to the mall and buy gifts not go to Home Depot and look at blinds.

Ya, I did do it in text. But she said I scared her off cuz I used to say how lazy she is and how she won't do anything and now I want her to chase bunnies and help with window treatment. Ha, someone did recommend that I do the blind thing cuz girls like that.

Oh well, I think she was boring and uptight anyway if she got mad at that. And she did flake on me in the past (more than once too, ya, I don't know why I didn't drop her earlier either). I don't think she is worth the effort. Moving on...
