As long as its congruent to you it should be fine. But if you try to take on a high-energy persona that doesn't fit, there is no way you'll be able to keep it up and it will come off as really weird. If you can flirt naturally then by all means do it.

man I'm lovin in class cuties. I forgot how much I love college. I would say the best way to start an interesting conversation with her is to use banter. For example I will tell you about a girl I met in class just yesterday.

[b]Me:[/b] hmmm someones gettin greedy with the papers lol (big smile)
[b]Her:[/b] haha I know they just passed them all to me!
(this is all I said to her on the first day just 1 playful line)

I'll give you some banter lines I've found good to start conversation in a classroom rated by ease of open and how positive the reactions usually are for me.
[b]1. [/b] if you have a teacher with an accent comment on their accent you can lead the convo to anything foreign quite easily

[b]2. [/b]if you are in a lecture hall that has alot of seats then comment how the seats cause her to be within your bubble

[b]3. [/b]comment on something about the class

[b]4.[/b] make her your official note taking buddy and her job is to take notes as you sleep and make oragami. I tell them I'll make them an oragami swan in return for their efforts.

these are just ones I've done in the past two days of class. If I can come up with this many in two days then coming up with your own is just as easy. Have a fun playful attitude. All flirting is is just playing back and forth really. Don't make it too hard just enjoy yourself enjoy your life even in class. Just being there means that you made a decision to get education and will be successful someday. Act like the success you are and love it.
