I have been thinking about this lately but just haven’t gotten around to writing anything about it. I remember when I first got into this and wanted to become a PUA. It wasn’t that I wanted to actually be a Pick Up Artist. I just wanted to break out of my shell and figure out how to meet women. Little did I know this “GAME†is really about so much more than just meeting women. Most who start out never get to see what this is really all about.
If you look around at our society so many people lack it. Most people just figure out how to skate by never really seeing their true potential. I will stop right there on that subject and get back to this one. Since we know most people lack implementation skills in regular everyday life isn’t it safe to say that most people who join the community will also lack this same skill. The answer is unfortunately YES which really sucks because it doesn’t have to be.
I just don’t understand how something like meeting women can be so important to you but then you just crawl up into a little ball and walk away. It’s like the second you realize you have to work at it and put in some effort you just quit. Fuck Dude nothing is easy. This path is certainly not easy I can tell you that. If you aren’t going to invest some time and energy…wait scratch that…if you aren’t going to devote yourself to this then just quit now. You are wasting your time.
But I promise you if you stick with it your life will change. It’s not even about meeting women anymore. It is about keeping them. It is about improving yourself to such a high level that they would be idiots to walk away from you.
Just imagine hearing this from a girl that you gamed: YOU RUINED ME FOR ALL OTHER GUYS!!!
Yes I have managed to turn some of my old FB’s or whatever you want to call them into Friends. Imagine that the guy who never had a girl who was just a friend now has some. How Ironic. Of course I banged them all before so I don’t think that counts in the purest sense.
This post could have been short and sweet but I feel like I am missing something. There must be something else I can mention for this subject. I guess I could tell you how to implement the knowledge and skills you are going to learn. I just don’t think that would really be fair though. I think if you get out there and figure most of this stuff out on your own you will be better off. I am not saying you can’t learn from others or even have someone teach you. Hell I love watching other people in action. It is the best way to learn for me. I just don’t think another speech on how to do this or that is what you need right now.
You need to get out there and TRY!
Grab some openers, chick bait, conversation topics and get out there. Get shot down a few times. Ask for a number. Escalate. Kino. Figure out what all this shit is and how to implement it in the field. You might be scared at first but it gets easier over time. Eventually you won’t think anymore it will just come natural. And then you will figure out exactly what that word means. Natural.
I promise the girls won’t bite…well…

I don't think it was directed at anyone ONE person in particular so much as it was directed at ONE TYPE of person.
There are way too many guys that talk the talk, but refuse to walk the walk. It's very old. And, as a more exprienced guy in the Community I've gotten really good at telling if you're serious based on one or two posts or within a few minutes of talking to you.
There are a handful of guys on the boards, that post regularly, that I don't feel are at all serious about this. I think this post was two-fold:
1) To motivate
2) Because PC is a little frustrated at the general lack of enthusiasm right now
The Community seems to have classes, like school. I've seen a handful of classes enter and then 'graduate.' I was a member of, in my opinion, one of the more exciting classes in recent memory. When we graduated we were the quarterback draft of 1984...such talent like: Lion, playercool, Professor, PicturePerfect, Smirks, Ratio, Bull Run, etc.
Ever since then we've had a lot of one offs, but nothing en masse. It'd be nice to see that again. But, it won't happen if you guys don't reach out to the guys with experience...and it certainly won't happen if you don't TRY.
Good post PC, when you speak up like this you HAVE to listen because you KNOW it's got to be important.

I agree, the community for the most part seems dead (the dallas lair at least) and most of the more experienced guys are in relationships now and the newer guys don't seem to do too much. I am guilty of this too though, I haven't done much in the last month or so, I had some things I needed to work out in my head, my inner game went to shit. But I feel that I am back now and I am ready to get back into the game 100% were I left off at.

This was Motivational.
It was not aimed at any one person. In fact I had no one in mind when I wrote this.
It is also about you newer guys not reaching out to EACH OTHER. I could be completely wrong on this but are you guys going out with each other? It is like you rely on us old timers to get a group together to sarge. Someone needs to step up and take initiative.
And yes this place has been DEAD lately. That is upsetting to me. Of course I am partly to blame since I have been spending so much time with one girl.
Just/Us Inner game issues take a LONG ASS TIME. You are not going to get through something overnight. I am only saying that so you understand it is an ongoing thing. I feel that my inner game is tight. But I still have these mis laps so to speak.

I'm guilty of a new LTR as well taking me away from things past 2 months.
But I was also getting discouraged by some posters who never seemed to make it out to meetups...just seemed like wasted energy even reading those posts
Could also just be some of the post holiday, back to the grind, funk....

I think seasonality has something to do with it.

But, neither are sufficient excuses. I've heard of some people getting together in small groups outside of the boards to run game, but I suspect that these meetings are few and far between.
I remember a time in which you could literally hit the 'Events' forum and find at least one or two people looking to go out. Now, that was a fun time.

I think the point PC was trying to make is that maybe you should PM the 'old timers' to see what's up. Take the initiative. Or, post an event in the events section and try to get some guys to meet you out somewheres to sarge.
Having said that, I think we'll have some 'old timers' in Addison on Saturday night. Probably Blackfinn.
