When PUA sickness attacks...

So I got sick today.. went home to rest and felt myself still getting worse so headed to the docs to head off a worse sickness... too late started getting chills right before leaving for the doctor... but that's neither here nor there.

So I'm sitting in the doctors office waiting when a 40 something (at least) mom came in with her young daughter. My first thoughts, despite being unable to stop shivering, are wondering how hard it would be to game a girl that young in front of her older mother. Then my thoughts run to whether she is even 18 because she looks REALLY young. I try to be good and not make eye contact (try). She gets called up to the nurses desk and I hear her say she's 21... in my brain I'm hearing cha-ching noises... what the hell is wrong with me? Deathly sick and want to game some poor SICK girl who looks almost as sick as me there with her mom... I figure she can't get much sicker?

Still was debating in my head when about a minute later I get called into the doctors office. Ah well... more than likely at the skill level I'm at I couldn't have pulled it off, and I'm sure it would've come off very creepy (how do you # close a sick girl in the doc office with her mom??)

These are the things that go through my mind ;) Had her mom not been there I totally would've gone for it, even feeling really sick (shivers, massive headache, general crap feeling, even achy balls, yes achy balls). What a difference this game makes... but is it a good one? How many would have gone ahead and tried to score the sick girl lol?

PS - The mom was not attractive for her age, whatever that was so that wasn't an option, even if I dated women that old lol

Just ignore the daughter at first. That's the key.

You can't help when and where you meet people. Maybe it's fate. The game is here to help you identify what you have to do in order to be position to talk to a girl you are interested in, among other things.

So how do you plan to increase your skill level, if you never approach? Don't put so much value on these girls to the point that you talk your self out of the approach and never drag your confidence level down by telling yourself you aren't good enough! I'm not afraid to tell you like it is, but I've read several of your reports and I see several "almost approaches"! Follow through, you've got good conversational skills.

I feel ya man on several counts in this post. I have been deathly sick for about one and a half weeks, it SUCKS. I took the opportunity to take a break from PU which is probably good anyways. Hopefully this weekend it'll be all over.

Also one of my biggest fears is moms. I don't know, I can never approach a girl with a mom nearby. So I feel your pain both ways!!

Honestly, I think not approaching a girl in the doctor's office was the way to go regardless of your perceived skill level (which I think was a bit of a cop out). Sometimes, in some places, in some situations it doesn't make sense to run Game.

LOL well my comment about my skill level in respect to that is something I added afterwards in this post, not something I was thinking about at all at the time ;) Really this girl looked WAY young I thought she might have been under 18 until I heard her say 21 so that and the mom were the only real things keeping me from going up. My point of the whole post wasn't should I do it or how would I do it, but just how funny it is that this is what I think about in this situation ;) Sitting there seriously ill and all I'm thinking about is gaming some girl with her mom in the doctor's office.

Howie yes almost approaches are still an issue for me ;) Thanks for the compliment on my conversational skills -- 6 months ago I would have been described as extremely shy, a wallflower, very quiet, etc -- I'm a diagnosed social phobic... so from where I was at earlier this year to where I am at today is a huge success to me even tho I am not yet where I will be ultimately (and do believe I'll get there with a lot more practice/sarging).

Jesus! Ok.

In a doctor's waiting room no way would I approach a girl. In other words, I would not FORCE an interaction.
