For those of you who do club game a lot, about how many sets do you hook?
Generally I've been experiencing a terrible hook rate. Although when I do hook I'm pretty good about getting decent #-closes. For example, day before yesterday I opened about 12 sets in a club and only about 2 hooked - the other ones all fucked up. Granted, I was dressed pretty badly and smelled like ass because my clothes somehow did that in the dryer. That probably was one of the factors.
Still, though, this isn't only limited to nights when I have bad clothes on. I'd say my hooking percentage at clubs, even when fully decked out, is about 10-20%. Out of those, probably 30-50% get me good # closes. So pretty low closing rate.
I've been trying to figure out what the problem might be. I notice my hooking percentage go WAYYY up when I use spontaneous "natural" game versus when I use canned openers. In fact, even stuff that I come up with, that I start regularly using and put "in the can", start failing as soon as I start using them too much!
I watched Pickup artist 2 ep1 and Mystery and Matador obviously have something going on that I am not aware of. Besides loads of experience. Any thoughts?

I watched the show too. I must say I have a feeling those girls were hired. I could be wrong but part of me thinks I am not.
Anyways back to your point. I really need to see you in action. I have a strange feeling you don't build attraction fast enough. Maybe you are getting into the dancing monkey syndrome. Maybe you aren't choosing a target and isolating somewhat.

It's true that it's somewhat of a numbers game no matter what -- nobody will hook 100%. And it's also true that hooking is not always the goal. Sometimes people do "short sets" or just mess around or whatever.
I would say a good goal would be to hook over 50% in general, but for clubs lower. The more "clubby" a place is, (which to me means louder, darker, and more motion) the more difficult and the more awkward it is to try to have a conversation.

Haha yeah good points everyone guys. Man, a 50% hooking ratio would be nice. Even my day game hooking ratio is only like 30% or so... although my approach anxiety in day game is pretty bad so that's another story.
PC, let's hit it up sometimes... I'd appreciate it if you could watch a few of my sets and maybe see something glaringly obvious that I never noticed. You do clubs at all? I could come out with you guys on Fridays but I can't get into bars.

The problem is clubs in general.!!!!! think of the age range of ppl you are dealing with. 18-24. Most of these ppl dont know who they are yet. 99% of them are like new puas trying out new things! Best advice, learn how to read your target sets better. Read their BL, choose which song you approach in, and keep your energy paced with the music or even a small step below it. Approaching everybody is illl advised. I showed you the eye contact game. harness that and your hooking percentage will double at least. I thimk I approached maybe 2-3 sets that night that didnt hook. but 2 of them did! thats expected in a place like purg. I'll make myself available to you wed. morning for day game, and possibly thursday night. hit me up.

If people were to use the EXACT same word for word routines then sure, but why in the world would one do THAT? They are merely EXAMPLES of routines that DO SOMETHING. Each routine does something specific (well some do many things all at once in an elegant multi-tasking manner). Your job is not to memorize a PATTERN word for word but rather understand a concept via Reading about it, hearing a PUA say it to them and explain it, then show them LIVE in field to a girl, then try it out themselves, then alter it or altogether run an entirely unique routine that happens to do the same set of THINGS. I mean, thats what I personally do.
My material is very different from Style's yet we use the same structure. I can't help but say, "wow you just dont GET IT - text sucks" - because in person you would, as all others have who have met me, simply say after a brief talk with me that it all makes sense - that the structure of courtship is embedded into HUMANITY and anyone who get's the girl follows the method." You read Chapter 3 right? Very little MATERIAL but tonnes of STRUCTURE. And each step in the structure has an objective and the material we use, whether my examples or the examples of other PUAs or ones you make up may be used to complete the objective of each step. Its the same pointless cry members of the magic community make about magic being revealed to the world.
Every 4 years there is a new batch of women in the clubs - we live in a population explosion - one which I dont believe people here fully appreciate. Forget about the "HIDE THE INFO" tactic. People can learn about magic just by typing in a SEARCH on the net. Its THAT easy ... but do they DO IT? no. and if they DO research magic, when they do finally go to a magic show they see the old principles used in a unique artistic manner and truly appreciate the art for much more than someone who knew NOTHING of magic.

The community aspect is geeky as all hell only because geeky men are seen in it. But you know what? there is an entirely super cool set of guys who have more women in there lives than men. Instead, learn the STRUCTURE of comedy from Carlin and use his jokes as EXAMPLES to draw from. Then learn from other comedians who are of his caliber and finally develop your OWN show.

So if a specific routine brings out the stereotype that you are an AFC TRYING to get a girl, um ... stop using it. A typical sarge from meet to sex will likely include anywhere between 50 and 100 separate routines - Id say 95% of my routines are different from styles.
Please remember where all these famous routines are coming from ... my literal friends and I! They work and we give them to you and they get used as examples to get up to speed so you can contribute your OWN thoughts and routines. Its never ending, just like magic. Despite open communication on the net magic shows STILL profit. And hell, if I ever vanish a cigarette I never get caught - even IF the routine can be learned in SECONDS on the net or in any children's magic kit because of the polished PERFORMANCE of it. Take a magic trick for a kid, remove the silk hanky and replace it with a substantiated prop in a club and do the effect dressed fuckin' cool and not magiciany, dont say TRICK or even MAGIC and then perform it for the target by impressing her with the amount of people watching you do it and VOILA, a fuckin' MIRACLE.
Get out of your head and into the game. I see nothing of the sort - the world is NOT crashing down. Yes women will learn that courtship has phases. they will learn examples of routines too for each. to fool a magician with magic is the goal. to pickup a woman who KNOWS your secrets is just as rewarding.

You fail to see the complete difference between COLD APPROACH GAME and HOT APPROACH GAME. You are only as famous as someone THINKS you are. So if I enter a set and nobody recognizes me, that is a cold approach. And whatever I say or do from scratch is my DHV campaign. If Im able to DHV the set BEFORE I approach them (billboard outside, music video, etc) that is HOT GAME and is similar to FLASH GAME when you are seen by your target ahead of your approach. Imagine a girl sees you enter with 2 10s on your arms. Then you enter the target's set and she immediately knows you have value because you have it for those high valued girls you were with (or at least thinks you do and thats all that counts anyways).
Im aware as I get deeper into HOT APPROACH GAME that people will not see the difference between that and the COLD APPROACH and will PRESUME I get my women from being famous. What, because I was on Playboy TV a couple weeks ago all of a sudden I enter a set and voila I have tail? come on, the girl didnt SEE the interview.
Or if she did, she didnt notice that guy was ME. It seems to me an emotional issue with the HAVENOTS who are pissed at those who HAVE. "Mystery's getting chicks cause he's famous". funny. and the first 150 girls? how did I get them? And the supermodel? Did she hear about me or know of my existance before seeing her in the same club? No. I went in and DHV'd. Thats it. And all celeb game does is allow me to show evidence in my DHV stories. "Mystery was on Playboy TV a couple weeks ago" can be an AI any wings throws to my target on my behalf whether true or not. and if true, I can show her a clip on my smart phone, just like a photo routine. famous or not in real life, if I can support my claim that I am famous to a girl then to her I am the tribal leader and bam I have a new GF (since girls are hardwired to chase after the tribal leader).
Whats so fucked is this: Style is a PUA right? So he gets on some TVs to up his game to HOT GAME and on some he kicks ass and on others he doesnt. They are TALK SHOW SETS. Thats what we do - Tommy Lee, Copperfield, Lenny Kravitz, Mystery, Neil Strauss ... we play HOT GAME. And then the HATERS come out. Weird. Rather than say, "Wow one of our own is out there playing the game bigger and better than I am ... you go boy!" Instead we get whining that we are cheating and suck. Dude, do you KNOW how I roll in field? Do you have any CLUE how successful I am in field? Do you know how fuckin HARD this game is? Did you know that writers and magicians ARENT generally considered cool and Style and I have to CAREFULLY and systematically DHV and anything we can do to provide evidence that we are who we say we are helps? What, YOU cant figure out how to get on the cover of a magazine or dont want to? Fine, but dont piss on other people for wanting to put together a great photo routine to quickly convey social status to a girl infield.
Two PUAs: PUA-A has PHOTOS with him and the other (PUA-B) doesnt. The PHOTOS? One of him with hot girls, another with his family, another on stage with a celeb. Perhaps even a video clip of his ex GF having her ass grabbed by his celeb friend Courtney Love. PUA-A says to PUA-B, "Dude you should put something similar together, it really conveys social value quickly and we only have 30 seconds before the target judges our value for her. And the other says, "that's cheating! I dont have pictures like that! you suck."
So get off your fucking chair and go build a photo routine. or get your web presence up to speed like Style is doing. He still has to go into the set just like you and systematically convey HIS LIFE. He gets to use video clips and photos just like you, only he got to it first. Dont beat him up for it. Let the PUA BE and do his thang. Learn what he did to get girls and do SIMILARLY. you dont have to be a WRITER and say you are NEIL STRAUSS. You CAN if you want write books too (as I have!) BUT ... you can also use other PUA success stories to ENCOURAGE you to get YOUR SHIT TOGETHER. We need everything we can do to get the girl.

Who IS this guy? So he walks by and makes a brief comment which intrigues her. Next thing you know, she's let past the security guy into VIP where she meets his friends. She soon discovers she's in the A-crowd - friends with money, celebrity, success - and they talk about him with such reverence she learns he is the tribal leader. He's hard to get, not needy, has girls in his set who seem into him, and the stories he and the others tell reveal a fucking fascinating lifestyle. Not only that, but his manager shows video of him on tv, and later another friend pulls out her mp3 player and says that a rapper wrote a song about Mystery called Mystery (that would be Herbal T's song Mystery). The target listens to it briefly.
This man is FAMOUS!
Surrounded by good people, she feels comfortable enough not only to introduce her friends to the group, but to tag along and bounce to the next place: the hotel he is staying at. A prefect gentleman, he doesnt push for sex and instead cuts it early. She goes home and does a search and discovers he's been in over a dozen magazines and has done talk shows. she reads insider stories online (thanks to a developing web presence) and due to a jealousy plotline, cant stop thinking of him - if only her female friend didnt like him so much as well. A few days later, she is hanging out with him, going to cool places, meeting cool people, learning new cool things ... this woman has just met Mystery.

If I go into a set and because of the unnatural situation that happens during bootcamps (same group of guys using same sample openers) I open a set with the same lines that another guy used on them earlier, I just say we are friends and were just discussing the topic and then stack to another one. simple solution that gets me the girl STILL. Dont be afraid of what you THINK will happen. instead, go into the set and find out for SURE. Running scared isnt how I roll. What if a target has fully read The Game and my ebook? all that will do is give you guys a commonality. You can still use the structure, just use unique material to fill the structure.
(BTW, my GF has been crying because she lost her fucking ID and needs to go back to London. Im going to just sit here and goof on the computer and WAIT until she's gone so I can breath again. This is coming from a place that just simply doesnt seem ... INFIELD EXPERIENCED. Its a fear of something that simply doesnt happen in reality. If I go into a set and because of the unnatural situation that happens during bootcamps (same group of guys using same sample openers) I open a set with the same lines that another guy used on them earlier, I just say we are friends and were just discussing the topic and then stack to another one. simple solution that gets me the girl STILL. Dont be afraid of what you THINK will happen. instead, go into the set and find out for SURE. Running scared isnt how I roll. What if a target has fully read The Game and my ebook? all that will do is give you guys a commonality. You can still use the structure, just use unique material to fill the structure.
(BTW, my GF has been crying because she lost her fucking ID and needs to go back to London. Im going to just sit here and goof on the computer and WAIT until she's gone so I can breath again. see this is very unfair ... look my GFs get hit on, sometimes by community guys. I dont whisper shit in my girl's ear and AMOG the guy like that. I just tell him Im in the community, that she's my live in GF and then we all go from there with respect for eachother. I dont get pissed if someone games my girl before they know she's my girl. I hook about 30pct. when I really get after it. Totally agree with Vector, its still a numbers game no matter how good your game or looks are.
