What books should I read?

Postby Suave » Thu Nov 30, 2006 1:02 pm

Hey I am in the process or reading up on a lot of material. I already have "The Game" and also "The Layguide" which is by Tony Clink. The Layguide is a very good book if you are looking for more detail about technique. The Game was more storylined and although they did have some good stuff in there, I feel it was more an intro to the game itself.

Anyways, what are some other good books that I should pick up?

I was looking on amazon.com and I was thiking about getting a book on how to be more Alpha Male, and I was thinking about getting something about NLP. NOt sure if the NLP book will be beneficial to my game or not?

Just looking for some suggestions on some good reading material to study on. I can't wait until the Mystery Method comes out IN February.

Let me know my fellow brotha's

It sounds weird but one of my favorite books is Condensed Chaos by Phil Hine. It's a starter book on chaos magic. It's good for a bunch of different reasons.

If you ain't into magic, It talks a lot about mind set and making you're will real, which is just positive thinking. What makes it different is he describes what it feels like and now to get there. If you've ever been in "the zone" in sports or when sarging you know the feeling.

If you are into RJ, he's into chaos magic so you see a bunch of where he's coming from.

My final reason, chicks dig metaphysics. Say you are wearing your favorite peacocking necklace and an HB asks why you are wearing that, say, "It's an energy focus. I'm a chaos magician." It always gets them. With the stuff you can pull out of this book you can throw enough info at them that they will think you are the single most powerful and enlightened being on the planet.

As far as NLP and such, Style references a bunch of books in his book that he says are much reads. there is also books like "the will to power" by Friedrich Nietzsche, "think and grow rich" by Napoleon Hill, "the prince" by Niccolo Machiavelli, "how to win friends and influence people" by Dale Carnegie.

I could go on.
