Tuesday now part of the weekend

Postby Westfall » Wed Jul 25, 2007 7:17 am

So yesterday I called Meghan (one of the girls I #-closed), and asked her how her weekend was going.

Yeah...

At least I made her laugh. She was at work and couldn't talk. I think I'll hold off for a while and call her later.

Ever say something increadablly stupid to a target that you just know, even before she points it out, that you just looked like a dumbass?

You need a better frame man. Saying stupid shit is inevitable and chicks really don’t care. It’s only a big deal if you make it one. Personally, I’d call her back sooner with good material ready and if she brings it up just reframe it as a DLV on her part. I do this a lot when I fuck something up, this chick I have been seeing for 6ish months told me the other day “How come when you do something retarded I end up feeling like an idiot?”

"What... you don't have a four day work week like everyone else? Is your boss some kind of slave driver? Have you been sold into servitude?" Optionally break into lois lane/superman bit.

"O wow... it's tuesday?!?!? I slept through monday AGAIN"

1. Be impeccable with your words and deeds.
2. Never take anything personally.
3. Never make assumptions.
4. Always do your best.

Could you elaborate a bit on how you reframe to DLV her? It sounds like a helpful concept.

It is just about having the mindset that whatever you do is flawless and anything that goes wrong in your game is her fault. In post A3 game, I just show her she has high value and made a low value decision by thinking whatever I did wasn’t on purpose or that she just doesn't get it. Most of the time it doesn’t even have to make sense as long as your frame is more powerful.

For example, I called this chick the other night and to make short of it, she dropped hints that her BF was right next to her and I just didn’t get it. It wasn’t like I was overtly talking about sex, she just has a really jealous BF. So the next day (she is a waitress at a restaurant me and a friend of mine go to for lunch 3-4 times a week) she is serving us and tries to bust on me for not understanding her sub communication. I put her in the frame that she makes good decisions, and pointed out that choosing to be with a guy who gets jealous is low value decision. Then I launch into a story about my female friend who is engaged and how we went to the mall the other day and this swinger couple tried to pick us up. We met her fiancé for dinner and we all had a good laugh. I never called back directly saying, look normal guys won’t get jealous over their partner hanging out with other people. I was just telling a funny story about my high value friends, but since I had just put her in the frame of having a jealous BF is low value and she has high value, suddenly she is coming back for my approval trying to qualify her BF to me and my dumbassory is reframed to “I got that your BF was there when I called and I didn’t care because he is low value”. I really didn’t need to take it that far, I just hate needy jealous guys. Read Mind Lines if you haven’t, a lot of the conversational reframe stuff I use I learned in that book.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge. It is those who know little, and not those who know much, who so positively assert this or that; and that problem will never be solved by science.
