Why..........

Postby Guest » Wed Dec 29, 2010 10:05 am

why does a man expend so much time and energy trying to obtain a female(s)? Why not just do guy stuff 24-7 and forget about them.....then maybe they'd work a little harder for our attention! ;) oh you say they do!

For me I enjoy learning the in's and out's of how something works and applying my knowledge. I also like anything that is an extreme challenge. Women are definitely highly challenging. I also like their beauty & sexuality. Yeah so other than that I have no purpose for one! I can clean, cook, and accumulate more wealth without one. I don't care to have women as friends. I find more respect, loyalty, and honesty in men so thats who I choose to be friends with.

Looking at the flipside of the feminist movement I wonder if mans need for a woman has lessened? I would certainly think it has. Also womens need for men has decreased. All of this decreased dependancy has certainly changed the dynamics of the relationship/dating/marriage world.

There's a lot of different reasons. For one, there's this incredible and indefinable thrill you get sometimes when you play this game, that for me is probably the best part. That existential oomph, if you will. What writers and poets throughout the ages were most definitely describing when they were (sometimes mistakenly) talking about love.

Part of me is also somewhat interested in finding that one person to settle down with, and the way I was living life before the community, there was no way that person was going to just fall into my lap.

On the dark side of the coin, unfortunately I have to be honest and admit, I find myself sometimes drawn to the game because of deep-seated self-esteem issues, and I use whatever success I have with women as a way to validate my own self-worth.

That goes away after a while.

To me, the darkest side is that I now know and understand the true nature of women. They are no longer something to be coveted, protected, and nurtured...they are no longer precious and the manifestation of all that is good in the world. No, they are just people like you and me...no better, no worse.

I find that to be sad and very often wish I could go back to a world of living in frustration regarding women instead of living in a world of truth regarding women.

This is an interesting question.

Beyond the physical needs of sex, I truly enjoy the companionship of a good woman. I have guy friends that I have alot of fun with and we get along great, but there's a part of me that misses the presence of a woman (beyond sex) if I have not spent quality time with one for a while.

The relationships that a man builds with a woman is significantly different from that of two men and fulfill an entirely different set of needs...

Guys do all sorts of things to get women. IE part of the reason guys try and become rock stars is to get inudated by women.

Also If it wasn't for HBs i wouldnt buy nice cloths, have a decent place, work out etc etc.

Also women in turn give us energy back. I heard it call female pyschological energy. I enjoy the company of my male friends but I justy feel more energetic/more lively if I am around hot chicks. When I am at the gym I work out harder/use more weight/do more reps if I a HB is close by (ever notice this?)

Anyways next time chicks are asking for more equality on pay or whatever because they think they are equal guys in turn should also demand equality in terms of incarceration (guys go to jail 10 times more than women)
