... a lot lately about principles and what I personally believe in, and I wanted to make a post. I almost put this in off-topic, but I recanted because I no longer feel that this is not pick-up related and one quote stands out:
"If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything."
This post is about principles and beliefs. This is about what being a man means to you. If you haven't thought about this, in my opinion, you aren't serious about being a PUA.
I believe that all men need to have some sort of values and principles in place. This is the crux of being a man. I have made postings on this before, but it never hurts to remind people, or myself. So:
I believe that people are innately good at heart.
I believe that people should hold themselves to a standard that is different than the masses.
I believe that respect is earned.. not given.
I believe that people should be as self-reliant as possible.
I believe that people should not request others to do something that they either don't want to, or would do for themselves.
I believe the sexes AREN'T equal.
I believe that farmers are the greatest people in our society, and I hold a blind-respect for all of them. The keep this society going.
I believe that men should be accountable to themselves. This leads to...
I believe that men, especially, should hold themselves to the highest standard.
I believe that men should practice more self control.
I believe that God controls my future.
What do you believe?
