Don't know what the odds are on this opener but I could see it working with the right delivery but hey most of them work with that. I will have to say I just broke it off with my LTR recently and she sent me this big long email about her sensing this and was afraid of that etc... and I was absolutely blown away by how accurate she was about the way I felt. I thought shit did I talk in my sleep or what? There is no way she could have known that. I agree with BR on the perception of most women is amazing but in PU I think they all know what your doing but if your smooth enough they actually love it whether you get anywhere or not. It makes them feel pretty and good about themselves either way.

That's exactly what I was getting at Kaisen. Obviously, I was using an absurd ratio to make my point. The fact is that I've had a shit ton of women tell me later that they knew that I gave them a few lines when I was picking them up. Sure, they didn't think that everything I said and did was a line, or contrived, but a lot of the things I did seemed to have a purpose and they couldn't help but feel that they were being manipulated. But, they also said that they liked me and wanted to please me so they went along with the game because even if they thought I was manipulating them they still felt special because I was showing them attention. And, because what I was doing was pretty much what they wanted a guy to do.

That's really all I'm saying. Not trying to tear down the opener because I can see it working a high percentage of the time. I'm just saying that we, as PUAs, aren't nearly as sneaky and shauve as maybe we want to believe. We just understand the steps to courtship, understand what women enjoy and like, and do both with confidence and conviction. The way we learned these things comes second to the fact that we know them.

Agreed. Great posts all around. But missed a good oppurtunity to use some of these tactics last night. I like for my game to be completely internalized, and it might take a while before even something as simple as going up to a girl and saying hi becomes natural to me.

That's kind of funny. I took a RSD boot camp. The first night, the instructor said to open up all sets with the opener of "hi." Now, it wasn't THAT simple. The opener was usually, "hi, I am having so much fun" or "hi, I am from out of town" or "hi, I have met some cool people tonight." It did seem strange at first, but it was liberating, natural, and maybe even more effective than all of that "chick crack" indirect stuff.
