Do women prefer feminine men?

Not sure how much of it I buy into, but there certainly does seem to be a trend from more rugged men to more effeminate men.

There are obviously some women (teenagers, children really) who prefer the feminine type. There is no doubt about that. It isn't very common for women over the age of 22 or so to hang up posters of Zac Efron or the Jonas Brothers. The types of men who get laid the most are Rockstars, Sports stars, and Politicians.

Rockstars = A show of Masculine sexuality.

Sports Stars = Again a show of Masculinity.

Politicians = The most powerful men in the world. Not terribly effiminate. Kennedy nailed as many as 6 or 7 a day. There is nothing more masculine, thus sexy to women, as power.

Is there a trend towards baby faces? Sure.

Is it permanent? Doubtful.

Will it inhibit real men getting laid? Absolutely not.

This article failed to mention the biggest stars of the 80's and mentioned 2 smaller caliber stars.

Stallone
Schwarzenegger
Tom Cruise (80's Cruise was babyface but he was very masculine)
Swayze
Harrison Ford

Etc.

The stars they pointed out were teenage hearthrobs who are mostly now considered jokes.

I was thinking the same thing as I read the article. Besides the fact that they left off box office draws like George Clooney, Gerard Butler, Clive Owens, and their ilk. The article also forgot to mention the action stars of the 80s.

If you look more feminine it doesn't mean you'll get laid more. The same is true with looking more masculine. I'm not sure they factor all that much into the equation.

I think if you carry yourself like a man, talk like a man, and act like a man then guess what? You're a man. And, you'll get laid. Period.

This kind of gets us back to that old question: do looks matter? The answer is a little bit. Just like anything else, if you have a certain look and it's the 'in look' then you've got an asset on your hands and it makes your task easier. If you don't have the 'in look' don't sweat it, just understand that your task might be a little more difficult than otherwise. Either way, you still have a shot.

Ya, one last thing. These guys are baby-faced because they're actually babies. The guys are all in their teens or early twenties.
