[quote1239115458=Alphagame]Basically, the 1 to 10 game goes like this: I pick out a guy, at random, and the girl I'm talking to has to rate this guy on a scale of 1 to 10. 95% of all men fail to rate above a 6. There aren't many 7's or 8's, but the few 9's and 10's ALL have one thing in common...I can tell they're gym rats.
So, going back to the real issue...most of the 9's and 10's, the women, that is, are usually with men of average looks. There just aren't enough of "hot" men on this planet to go around.[/quote1239115458]
But, there is a difference between men and women. While most men only need a woman to be a 9 or 10 for him to have sex with her, a woman requires more. All to often, women acknowledge that a man is a 9 or 10 but need more for her to have sex with him. Part of it is that she needs a more emotionally based connection, but part of it is that she's intimidated by his looks. In our society, women are told they have to be beautiful, as such they strive to be the beautiful one in the relationship. I've read studies that show that women prefer their men to be a little overweight or have a little 'belly' (I've seen numbers as high as 70%).
Further, the pressure of being beautiful for a woman and her inability to live up to that goal means that she becomes a little more forgiving with a man's appearance. She won't judge us the same way we'll judge her.
[quote1239115458=Alphagame]Having said all that, I'm told I'm hot all the time. I'm a gym rat, a diet freak, I tan. It helps, but I guess I'm still struggling with some internal issues that are proving to be quite the bitch to overcome. I'm 39, make shit tons of money, drive a cool car, but I've never had sex with a 9 or a 10 in my life. I've improved my "game" a lot, but still not where I want it. I will get there, eventually. I'm a slow learner.[/quote1239115458]
Working out is important in your development of becoming a man, not necessarily in your development of your game. Sure, it's easier when you have a rocking body. You'll get more opportunities, you'll get more auditions. But, you won't necessarily get the part if you can't back up that built physique with a 'built' personality that will sweep her up and carry her to a new world of excitement and intrigue.
Long and short though, work out it's a good thing all around. Just don't think that it'll be some sort of answer to your shortcomings in game.
