I'd even add that I think the mid jan lull that starts is also influenced by guys. I know for myself looking back, if I was not in a relationship, i was perfectly content to ride it out solo past valentines day because i specifically did [b]not [/b]want to deal with any V-Day logistics with a girl(s) i had had only a few dates with over course of a few weeks!

It's boyfriend season. Boyfriend season has two endings...20% of the girls who have decided they want to dump their boyfriends do it right after New Year's. The other 80% wait and do it right after Valentine's day.

January 2nd and February 15th..."let's just be friends". A lot of heartbroken guys are hearing it on these two days.

ALL girls want a boyfriend on Christmas, New Year's Eve and Valentine's Day. Even the 22 y.o. party girls.

I will say that I've had three women throw themselves at me...practically trying to drag me home for a fuck...in the last few weeks. I attribute that to them being old and ugly, not some certain time of year.

Exactly. And this was the point of the post. The pressure starts in November and lasts all the way through mid-January/early-February. Women DO NOT want to be single or alone during these times, they become desperate for a companion which translates into them becoming MORE aggressive.

Sure, sure ugs and older women tend to be more aggressive. But, don't you think that they get EVEN more aggressive than normal? These same women would have probably hit on you regardless of the time of year, but I suspect that they would not have been so aggressive in doing so if it were, say, summer.

This is a bit of a recurring trend for me. I've seen the same type of thing happen for [i]years[/i], it's been even more pronounced during my two year stay in the Community.
