What Kind of PUA Are You?

I've been in the Community for a while, and am one of the more active guys out there. I've meet a ton of you guys and I've built a list of types of PUAs. I don't think you remain one type of PUA, instead I think you transition in and out of different types over time.

1) The Misogynist - They were burned by women in the past and want to get a 'leg up' on them now. It's borderline revenge with some guys. I'm gonna fuck as many women as possible because they fucked me. These are the guys that find virtue in nailing multiple girls in the same day in the same bed, bedding chicks that are in relationships, SNLs are a big deal, having sex with high numbers of women just because they can (note that the quality of the women isn't always that big of a deal, just as long as it's a woman). They basically do whatever possible to prove to themselves that women are nothing but whores. This reinforces his belief that women are not to be trusted, are the weaker of the sexes, and aren't worthy of his time, affection, love.

2) The Loser - You suck with women because you have really low value. In other words, you don't have a lot to offer and project that to women and as a result they simply aren't interested. So, now you're trying to cheat the system by learning how to change the delivery, while doing nothing to raise your value. This guy can get really, really good at picking up girls because they use manipulation techinques instead of projecting their true personality and value (they're low value so they have to hide that from women). Many of the things they say and do are totally incongruent with their real life. Routines? Stories? DHVs? They can all be fabricated. Remember these guys don't have a lot going for them so they have to make it up. If they are creative enough, women will bite. But, they won't necessarily stick around very long. It's hard to hide your true value over time, the girls figure it out eventually and move on OR he knows this will happen so he only keeps them around for a short time. FBs are probably out of the question, unless of course, she's equally low in value. If these guys put as much energy into improving their lot in life as they do in PU, then they could do some fucking amazing shit.

3) The Self Improvement Junkie - This guy entered the Community because he wants to be better with women. He looks at PU as an add-on to his life, not a lifestyle. He generally has many projects that he undergoes in order to make him a better person, PU is just another project of self improvement. Generally speaking, these guys have a lot of value and have no bad feelings towards women. These guys are slightly ashamed to be part of the Community because they're uncomfortable with the types of things PUAs do. But, they trust in the process of self improvement so they internalize this stuff anyway. These guys are the ones that rise quickly, they become really good, really fast. But, eventually they become satisified with where they are and seek out their next self improvement project.

4) The Mimbo - Male bimbo. This guy is here for no other reason than to have as much sex as possible. They view the game as the price they have to pay in order to play. They have zero respect for the beauty that is involved in PU. The chase is just a formality, they are their for the pussy. These guys are hard to spot because everyone is trying to get laid. But, typically when you hang out with them you never talk shop, you never talk about much of anything really. He's not going to talk to you about his life in any manner. He will talk about the chicks he's fucked, but not it's not bragging it's simply his version of "this is what I did today."

5) The Jockey - Keyboard jockey that is. These guys spend a lot of time reading, theorizing, and deconstructing PU. They love the dance that is PU. But, they don't know how to dance because they never get out from behind their computers, books, DVDs, etc to actually run some fucking game. I know nothing about these guys, because I've never met them. But I suspect that they are simply today's reincarnation of Star Wars nerds from the 80's.

6) The Ghosts - These guys are a lot like the Jockey in that they are ghosts. They have an account. They read everyone's post, they never contribute and they should because they are Gods. These are the guys that you see out at bars and clubs that you suspect are in the Community. They never come right out and admit it so you have to pry it out of them. They never give you their handle, they don't talk shop (usually), and they are really fucking good. PU is their dirty little secret, but they are some of the best around (IMO). High value, high status guys. They keep this a secret because it would actually lower their value. I've only met two or three of you guys, and I'm sure you know who you are, but it was a pleasure.

7) The Renter - These are the guys that don't stick around very long. They jump into the Community for a while and then split because it didn't work, it was too hard, they met someone, etc. Sometimes they come back, but not for long. These guys are akin to those people you see at the gym that work out only when they're single, then stop going once they meet someone. In and out. PU is simple a tool for them. They use it to get what they want, then drop it when they don't need it. These guys can have a range of value, but usually its realitively high because they do end up in relationships and you need value for those.

8) The Strategist - These guys are in love with the Game. It's the chase that they thrive on. They almost lose all interest once they close, because closing is the goal for them. These are the guys that lose their identity in the Game, they become a 'gaming' machine. These guys are uber knowledgable and see things that most others don't. I suspect that most instructors fit this mold.

9) The Asshole - You treat women like shit, your wings like shit, everyone like shit. You trample sets just because you think it's funny. You love AMOGing and blowing people out, really anything for some form of confrontation. We're all guilty of being the ashhole from time to time. In general, if someone calls me an asshole it's probably because I'm acting like an asshole. These guys pick up low value chicks with harsh negs and rude body language. These guys raise their value by tearing down the value of the people around them. But, like I said, we're all guilty of being the Asshole from time to time.

The interesting thing is that many guys will go through phases in which they are one or the other. I've been an Asshole, a Mimbo, a Misogynist, and a Self Improvement Junkie.

So, which one are you?

strategist, self improvement junkie, and one you didnt mention. I think i have damn good ladies man skills =P I like to get other guys who think they have skills and have a highlander sarging duel =P There can only be one!!! I mean i dont amog other puas out of sets and I will wing for a guy for sure but I just love going out in field with other guys that have game and see who comes out on top in the same venue without actually competing with each others sets. Or going out with guys that think game is bullshit and high five them as i leave the club with some hot girls =P

Strategist and Self Improvement Junkie. But with some caveats - I have no shame of being in the community, even my friggin mom knows I'm in the community and a few of my friends. What's wrong with wanting to pick up girls? We're dudes doing what dudes do or should be doing. Any guy who goes to a bar and doesn't try to talk to the hot girl he notices is just being a pussy.

because I heard of a PUA in austin from a fellow PUA who does this bitch ass move to other fellow PUA/students to raise his own value in sets and try to cock block other PUAs/students.
So where do people like him fit in?

i LOVE the game, its almost like chess, music, art; but i do it for the psychology! Its a style of psychology that i LOVE!!! Women are funny creatures, they are so emotional. Women are like pitch forks, when you ring one fork and bring it closer to one of the same tune, it ring! All women ring, you just need to find what tune they are.

i guess im a little like The Strategist, because like i said, I LOVE THE GAME! But i dont get bored once i close =D

The Self Improvement Junkie, because you learn ALOT about how people work, which helps you with real world shit.

And to be honest The Misogynist. I was picked on alot, and when i see the jocks in the mall, i pick up the girls they are with. Also the women who used to reject me, wont keep their hands off me =D
