Careers, Jobs, and their benefits

Postby Guest » Mon May 05, 2008 2:08 pm

Okay guys. I've been more on the sideline for awhile because I had to take a career break for health reasons.. and honestly having troubles getting off the sidelines. I did previous work in medical sales and website development.

I'm looking for work with good life style.

Currently I'm putting my resume in for information technology and looking for business roles. But, I'm not opposed to real estate, teaching cert, getting a law degree, fireman, and many countless other thoughts. But, I want to choose something that has great payoff in all aspects.

1 ) what are some great career or jobs for this?

2) any part time work you can think of that opens doors, makes good $, easy to get, or has some side benefits? ( life guard, bartender )

my company is always hiring outside sales reps it pays very well the training is great and im not tied to an office or certain hours however you have to be very good with time management as its easy to slack when theres no obligatory office time. And after three months theres no more salary its straight commission although the commisssions are great. Let me know if your interested and shoot me a PM

Big D, I find your question so unlimited its difficult to answer. What's your educational background?

What is defined as fat bank and good hours to me might be different for you.

I met a guy in Playa del Carmen that went around to different resorts giving Scuba lessons all over the world. He had easy hours(late morning to afternoon, living expenses were paid for, made less than $25K/yr. He told me he was very successful with the women he'd meet while teaching lessons and also met several businessmen.

While taking a motorcycle training course the other day I realized that being an instructor would be a pretty good way to have decent hours, flirt with women, and meet new people. At least thats what our instructor pretty much did. Not sure what it pays tho.

Most jobs pay big money for a reason!

Bottom line what Howiestern is saying is that you get what you put in...If being rich was easy and didnt take a lot of work then everyone would be rich. Qualifications are also big and bottom line perception is reality

becoming a Fireman isn't very easy to do...I tried about a year ago...apparently everyone wants to be a fireman. there's something like 1000 applicants so you need at least a 98% on your tests and then there are still many applicants who'd get the job over you. I'm considering Law Enforcement...but that doesn't have anything to do with PUA skills....
