I appreciate the generosity, and the spirit of this, but really we don't need money right now. I think what we need first is a structure that provides transparency and establishes trust. Or if not that, at least a specific objective so people know what they are contributing to.

If there is a difference in understanding as to how it will be used, even a small amount of money can lead to strong negative feelings.

Let's not rush into this. The only things that really take money are the special events, and although there is risk in predicting the number of attendees, they can pay for themselves.

I agree with Vector, but I like Fenix's idea and think we should implement something like it regardless.... maybe without the paid part and instead just have the said person buy lunch or pay the person who is helping for their time personally what they think it was worth to them or with a likewise barter, a skill for a skill.

Im all about bartering a trade for a trade.

That aside. I do agree all of the donation thing is a bit rushed even though well intended. Very well intended in fact.

With all the PUA's and entrepeneur's we have here, I'm thinking FUNDRAISER!!!

Shirtless PUA carwash anyone??
Bake sale?
Bootcamp sale??
Girl scout cookies???
Will we pass the offering plate at the next meeting, while Vector blesses the new board, kinda like at church ???? :)

Let's have fun with this, and make it an event!

I have been working on a midsummer nights dream party for july for Seductive Man. The proceeds going to help a worthy cause of some sort.
