Acehigh, I agree. You don't have to be good-looking or even have a great profile. Having pics that show you having fun are a great asset but even that isn't the end-all be-all. If you don't have a great profile or pics, you can be awesome in your messages to her. If you play your message game right she will be yours. Oh yes, she will be yours.
