Shoes, Shirts, Pants, Accessories, etc...

Okay guys so, I've seen Tyler Durden wear these black boots that have 3in platforms, and Mystery who wears similar shoes to make him 6'9'' or whatever height he is. Their advice is to go to smaller shops to look for unique items that will make you stand out. So, other than the mall where you will see a lot of generic clothing, where can I find some unique gear to stand out from the crowd? I'm talking shoes most importantly, shirts, pants, and accessories.
