Negative Dallas Observer article about PUA

A recent article was blogged at the Dallas Observer about a local PUA (Asian Playboy) that matriculated from the Dallas pickup scene. The article is rife with misunderstanding and feminasti undertones. Mostly a stupid article, but the comments is where the action is. They reveal a complete misunderstanding for the scene.

It cracks me up, because one comment is from a girl, <mistymar> saying:

I'm with Andrea here. This is sleazy stuff and the snark is what they deserve. Snark is well known to be the natural defense of the intelligent woman to repel any encroaching douche bags.

Then again, I don't go to the vapid douche-infested bars in Uptown, I don't wear designer clothing, and I don't like valet parking. I don't like or fit in with the pampered, brainless, overly tanned, clothing and status obsessed patrons, and the feeling is completely mutual. Give me Expo Park or Deep Ellum any day and let the douchy morons do whatever they want over in Victory Plaza and the West Village. People seek their own kind, and "They are not my people".


I'd love to educate these women that PUA's come in all shapes and sizes. All backgrounds and intellects. I know there is a tattoo pierced deep ellum rocker boy here that could rock her unknowing world. Haha
