Fundamental Concepts Of Game

Postby Phenix » Tue Feb 24, 2009 9:57 pm

I think there's a lot of theory or models out there that break down the nitty gritty details of game. I think it's fascinating; I like breaking down the world around me because I'm an analytical critical thinker. But, at the same time, I think the theory is extremely inefficient at helping people and more often than not, it's detrimental. Why? Because 9 out of 10 guys I meet have this big sticking point: they get inside their head and over analyze. And once they get in, they'll psyche themselves out b/c their mind of doom will visualize all these horrible things that will go wrong.

So, when these guys study all this theory, it just overloads there circuits and they end up freezing up. Every once in awhile, I'll meet a guy who just does does does and never thinks about it. And usually these guys make the fastest progress and theory does help them….a lot. But they come about 1 out of 10 times.

So, here is my distilled fundamental concepts of game. Five. Simple. Short. And Sweet. Easy to remember and easy to implement and from these fundamental concepts, you will embody the entirety of all the dating techniques out there.  Here's my foundation of game:

1. Push pull
2. Self Amusement
3. Unreactiveness
4. Identity Congruence
5. Reward

Push Pull: 2 Steps forward, 1 Step back

Push pull is the concept that when we flirt, we take 2 steps forward and 1 step back. Example: "I love that dress on you. It fits you perfectly. Okay, you gotta get away from me, I can't stop staring at it." We're literally pulling the girl in and then pushing her away.

So for the guys in the scene, if you understand the fundamental concept of push pull, you will find yourself naturally doing all these techniques:
○ Normal Push Pull
○ You'll get girls to chase you
○ Devil's advocate (doing push pull on yourself)
○ You'll learn to escalate properly and deal with LMR
○ Breaking rapport
○ Sexual Barriers & make them feel their winning you over
○ Take-aways (a physical form of push pull)
○ Presupposes good non-verbals
○ Great means to convey genuiness. Ex: "I think you're adorable & fascinating…but you could just be that way tonight b/c I'm just buzzed.)

Self Amusement: Am I having fun?

Everything you do when you're flirting with girls should come from a place of self-amusement. If it's not funny to you or you're not enjoying yourself, the people you're talking to are going to feel it. Sure there are moments and nights where we don't feel on-point, but when it feels like it's excruciatingly painful most of the time, you're not doing it right, you're not with the right people, or you're not learning from the right people.

From self-amusement, you will naturally become:
○ Outcome independence. And you will have a positive version of outcome independence: "Everyone will love me, it doesn't matter what I do" instead of "fuck 'em, I don't care what they think."
○ Fun happy state
○ You will change your mindset from "What do I do?" to "What do I want?"
○ What you feel, they feel
○ Nimbus
○ Roleplaying

Unreactiveness: How To Deal With Every "Negative" Situation

Unreactiveness means not letting the external influences of your environment get to you. When you're flirting with girls, you want to be solid. Most guys get scared when a girl teases them; or worse, they start getting defensive. How can you expect to tease her but not allow her to tease you back? My default response to anything a girl says to try to test me is "Sure, whatever makes you happy." She calls me gay? "Sure, whatever makes you happy. Anyways, bla bla bla." She calls me a nerd? "Sure, wmuh." She says I have a boyfriend? "Sure, wmuh."

If you're unreactive, you'll naturally embody these attractive qualities:

○ Alpha
○ Non-needy and non approval seeking
○ Avoiding negative visualization
○ Absurdifyng teases
○ Amoging
○ Shit tests
○ Bitch shields
○ Disacknowledgement
○ Don't care what other people think
○ Plowing/Persistence

Identity Congruence: Am I full of shit or am I being genuine?

I can't stress this enough; act in accordance with your personality or the personality that you want to embody. If you want to be a charming sweet nice person, don't go up to girls and say "Hey, I think you have an amazing ass." If you're a punk rocker at heart, don't dress in affliction t-shirts and khakis when you go out. I know it sounds stupidly simple; that's because it is. Say what's on your mind and what you're thinking; if you're comfortable with it, they will be comfortable with it.

○ Speak from the heart
○ Never run out of shit to say
○ Allows you to be sexual; it's okay to think with your penis.
○ Always be closing
○ Assume attraction
○ Physicality

Reward: Make Other People Feel Good

Most guys with little game think being a jerk is the way to get into girls pants; and then they go out and try to be an asshole. And then the girls call them an asshole and walk away and they think, "What did I do wrong?" I usually laugh when I hear or see this because they're understanding is such a gross misunderstanding. At some point in the interaction, you are going to have to make the person feel good. If you never do this, the person will have no reason to continue talking to you. There are some counter-intuitive ways to do this, but that's another topic all by itself. And really, you already know how to do this. Give compliments, get to know the person you're flirting with, and reward them for good behavior. We discaknowledge bad behavior and reward good behavior.

Here are ways to make people feel good:
○ Direct Game
○ Rapport
○ Comfort
○ Getting people invested in you
○ Giving Value
○ Qualifying

So if you're starting out, you don't need to learn a lot of theory.  Just write these 5 things on your hand; when you're talking to a girl and you don't know what to do, just look at your hand and remind yourself to:
1. Push Pull: Take 2 Steps forward, 1 step back
2. Be Self Amusing: Am I having fun?
3. Be unreactive: Am I keeping calm when I get attitude?
4. Identity Congruence: Am I being genuine?
5. Reward: Am I making her feel good?
"Follow those who seek the truth, and run away from those who claim to have it."
