Importance Of Having Female Friends

Guys, why are we clueless around women? Or said a differently, why do we not understand women or how they behave?

Well for the most part: guys have never been in their situation.

Now, there are some gender biases that color how men and women behave to certain external stimuli, but for the most part, I've come to understand that most of the time, guys have never been in the woman's situation

Don't judge a man unless you've walked in his shoes

So let me give you an example:

I was out with my friend the other night, and we were talking to two of the hottest girls at this bar. My friend was on fire. Then, the girls went to the bathroom and my friend feaked out: he thought that they left and were politely excusing themselves. Well, they didn't; and they did come back. And they saw that their seats were taken by other guys so they turned around and left to go to the front of the bar.

Now here's what my friend thought: "if they were really interested, they would've come back to the back of the bar to find us."

Guess what? The girl was thinking the same thing: "if he was really interested, he would've come back to find us."

And what happened? Neither of them exchanged digits.

So what I'm really trying to say:

Guys and girls are more alike than you would think. Girl's responses are human reactions are a human evoked response, not a gender specific response.

So how can you understand what it's like to be hit on all the time? Try going to a gay bar. You'll start to feel why girls have a bitch shield or a guard after 10 guys come up and hit on you sloppily.

How do you get better at reading body language? Put some time into it. Girls aren't naturally amazing at reading body language; they've got a lot of experience after a life time of being hit on.

What's the best way to understand all of their reactions or where they're coming from? Have a lot of female friends. And by friends, I mean friends: girls that even when given the chance, you would not want to hook up with.

Why does this work? Because you'll see them in action and where they're coming from.
