I'm not sure. I think you win the game when you stop playing it. Once you completely and totally internalize everything PU teaches (inner game, how to be a man, how to interact socially) and you get to the point that your personality is naturally one that attracts others then I think you win the game. You win because you're not consciously playing the game any longer, it's who you are.

I think sarging is just the tool we use, the medium if you will, with which we all learn to be better men. More self-assured, better with social interactions, secure with who we are, etc. I think if you're here trying to get an LTR you'll end up just where you began.

I agree with what you say. However, I will add that if you're here to avoid a LTR, if you're here to avoid having to supplicate, then you're not even close to being a PUA. These tools help us to emulate a well-grounded, superior guy. Once we internalize everything, then we become a well-grounded, superior man. If you're having to question whether you're a PUA or an AFC, then you have some work to do.

Take Brad Pitt for example. Does Brad Pitt worry about whether marrying Angelina Jolie makes him an AFC? No, of course not. He's a well-grounded, socially calibrated guy. He marries Angelina Jolie because that's what makes him happy. He does nice things for her on his terms, and he expects the same in return. He expects respect and admiration, because he's awesome. It has nothing to do with whether he's banging one HB10 or a hundred.

I totally agree. I think what I'm trying to say is that PU is the means to a greater end. The end is to make yourself a well-grounded, superior guy. If you're here to bang a lot of chicks then you have a problem, if you're here to find an LTR then you have a problem. BUT, if you're here to become a better man then you're doing it for the right reason. *Note: that being a better man might lead to banging a lot of chicks or a great LTR but those are just benefits.*

I openly state that I'm not a PUA. Right now, if I were to find myself in a LTR I'd more than likely backslide into AFCism. I've seen and met a lot of guys (from here and the Lair) that have the same story:

New Guy: "Hi, I'm Joe. I've always been pretty good with women, then I found myself in an LTR, now I'm back out there trying to get my 'game' back." Most of these guys are HUGE AFCs, they reek of it actually. They probably weren't nearly as big an AFC going into the relationship as they were leaving it. If you go into an LTR and you aren't a true PUA, you'll backslide.

It's a journey, in my opinion, you go from AFC to PUA. Once you've internalized all PU has taught you, you've become a true PUA. Only then do I think you'll be ready for an LTR and still remain the well-balanced, superior man that you were going into the LTR. A lot of what it means to be a PUA is that you can deal with not being with someone just as well as you deal with being with someone. You're a strong enough man that others don't define you. I think you need that to have a successful LTR.

Joking aside, my goal is to achieve maximum individual happiness. As such I will try to enjoy "quality" & "quantity". If I am forced into a situation where I have to choose, I will choose whichever I feel will bring me the most happiness in the long term

Well, it constantly changes...as I am a constantly changing person, evolvoing my thoughts & pilosphies on life everyday.

If you had the power to create the ultimate life for yourself, what would it be like? Imagine having lots of women, being single and playing the field, and compare that with having a girl that loves hanging out with you and would do anything for you. Weigh those against the effort required to achieve them.

For me personally, my PU goal is to get into an LTR with a girl I will still find interesting in 20 years.

I have secondary goals too, but the thing I want most is to have an awesome girlfriend that appericates me for my eccenttric nature, and wants to make me happy.

I think I've found one. I talked with her until 12:30 last night even though we both had to get up super early this morning. This is a girl I can share my perspective on life and love with. She told me she would love to be able to fall asleep in my arms.

She likes video games. How cool is that!?
