Alright, so you're still here. Welp, moving on.



What's up. I moved to DFW 3 years ago and have lived here on and off over the past 2 years, so I'm familiar with the area. Just moved back from school in California last month. Joined the forum today. I've been knowledgeable of the game and what it entails for almost 8 years. That being said, I don't spend as much time reading material as most. That's because I'm usually out 10-15 times a month...approaching, getting numbers, going for pulls, you name it. There's no substitute for the real thing.

My only 'claim to fame' is going to a David Wygant meetup in Hollywood last year. From what I gathered and the quality of guys who showed up compared with my own skills, I didn't really need it. Of the other PUAs I met that night, only one was willing to actually go out and apply the material learned. But for the most part I haven't met anybody new (from online or otherwise) who's 100% serious about improving themselves, and are just looking for the magic pill to make them all of a sudden get women. I've heard every excuse in the book for not going out.

If this does NOT sound like you then I am your guy. I have a friend on here who usually goes out with me 2-3x a week. For the most part we have no problem driving anywhere in DFW, as long as there's women to be had. I live in Plano but also go to Uptown, Addison, Ft. Worth, wherever. If you see yourself as intermediate level or above and are not afraid to smash a few broads from time to time, then let me know what's up!

My bad, didn't reazlize it was a crime to find motivated people. So you either have to be a newb or a guru? No in-between? Why would a 'guru' such as myself want to sarge with guys who are already decent at game anyway? There would be like no money in that at all.

Hey man, didn't mean to jump on your shit so hard. That was tacky and insensitive of me. For that, I apologize. Being one of the elders on here means that I need to be more responsible with what I post up on here, I no longer have the luxury of being a hot head.

But, you have to understand that when you read that intro post of yours it's a little fishy. I've been in PUA for a long, long time and have seen a lot of posts like this and they almost always have ulterior motives. It literally does read like spam from David D or some other 'guru' selling junk. Anyway, once you've been here for a while you get to be pretty good at sniffing out guys that are polluting the boards in an attempt to sell their skills and services.

But, having said that, for all I know, you're a cool cat and a normal dude. Fuck man, we're all pretty normal even if what we write on here seems a little weird. Fact is that the boards have a way of filtering out guys in an organic fashion. I have no role in doing so, that's just a community thing that occurs naturally.

The long and short of it is this: I shouldn't have jumped your shit and welcome to Dallas PUA. If ever I bump into you at a night game event, I'll buy you a drink.

That's cool. I may have come off a little too energetic or whatnot, maybe I tend to go for 'shock value' when I say things...at least when it comes to getting attention or sifting out the people who are serious. Which I must say did work to an extent. I spent the last 2 years in California for school, and flaking is pretty much the culture. I'd have to confirm multiple times for a meetup or appointment or whatever. And when it comes to nightlife it's that much worse. I didn't want to end up going out with guys who would just stand there or throw the book of excuses at me when it came to making things happen. I have my friends from HS and college for that.

The last thing I'd want is money, since I am somewhat of a cheapskate myself. A lot of information is out there for the public to use freely, yet most don't even go that far to find it. Fitness workouts, healthy food recipes, PUA stuff, whatever. People know what jogging and salads are, yet personal trainers and dieticians make buku bucks. If somebody wants to charge for their stuff, cool by me. It's a free market. But my take is if people want to find it on the cheap they will. So I'll watch all the free videos or read whatever material, but I wouldn't pay unless I had no other choice. Especially for something that should be implanted in us biologically. But in this day and age that isn't an issue.

I understand, people in the community are notorious about flaking. Especially if you've never met them before. I made the mistake of meeting up with guys that I hadn't meet first (at a meet-up) or weren't vouched for by someone I knew and respected. It usually turns out to be awful. You never know who's on the other side of a keyboard.

I would recommend that you come to the next meet-up we have. Friday we had a great turnout and everyone was pretty chill and normal. The best way to find a wing or wings is to just sit down someplace in a group and just hang out for a bit. That's the value of the meetups. Usually, we only have them once a month, but I think it should be a bi-weekly thing (say 1st and 3rd Friday of every month). I can't host them all, but I'm happy to do more than my fair share.

As for my response, I don't care if people make money off of anyone else as long as the transaction is a voluntary one. I'm cool with profit and free markets. Having said that, this board, in my opinion, should not be a dumping ground for posts that are soliciting business. No way we should be polluting this forum with what amounts to free advertising. It's greatly looked down upon and I, personally, find it to be highly offensive. I'm not saying that's what you did, I'm just saying that was the vibe I was getting. Again, it seems like I was premature in my response because it doesn't seem as if that was your real intent.

Anyway, let's set the drama aside and get back to learning how to tame the vag!!

I found out about the one last week maybe 20 minutes before it started, but I was with a group of people in Allen so there was no way I was going to make it. Although I did show up to meet my friend at the Madeleine place last summer and went to Sherlocks after it. I think the guy said his name was Sabre, and the other dude kinda looked like George Clooney. Not sure if that was a meetup specifically for this forum or not. I do recall most of the guys there just talking to each other, not so much looking for sets to approach, which is what I'm trying to avoid.

Yea my statement was more towards the idea of soliciting services in general, not so much on a forum or any other site like that. Pretty sure I saw something about not being able to do that on here in the rules anyway.

Welp, tomorrow's a new day for new approaches on new sets. So let's get to it.

Very true. I've been to dozens of meet ups over the years (both in Dallas and Houston, Austin, and other cities) and it's so, so common for only a handful of guys to be approaching at all. If any do approach, they tend to get stuck in the same set for a while. Also, the same sets tend to be hit by several different 'PUAs' throughout the evening. From what I saw, a lot of guys did approach last Friday...more than I would consider to be 'normal.' And, any side conversations amongst the guys were relatively harmless and short. I didn't see a lot of guys just standing around talking game.

Of course, there are spectators that only show up to watch some of the more experienced guys run game. Those guys are the worst man, just watching your every move. And, they fuck up your game too because the wimenz notice that shit man. But, that just comes with the territory. Some guys are just a little bit 'off' and there's no amount of game that will help them. The good news is that those kinds of guys don't tend to stick around very long.

I could only assume if there were enough PUAs at the same venue that you'd have A) some dudes on the sideline watching the others, B) everybody approaching and the place gets sarged out quickly, or C) a few of the guys get blown out, realize just how much work they'd have to put in, and become one-and-dones.

But I think watching others can be a huge wake-up call for most, especially when they find out how long you've been at it just to become intermediate. I see somebody like TD or Mystery and think "damn I suck," but then I see some other guys and realize I'm average at worst.
