How I started to be a PUA

I was bored and lonely. I was totally frustrated with my life. Something had to change and change soon. I worked way too much. I had no girlfriend. My social life existed through XBOX Live. I had posted a profile on Match.com and got no results other than spam from hookers wanting to sell me their services. A friend from work told me about a book called The Game written by Neil Strauss. This book changed my life. I looked up Mystery and Style on the Internet. I bought Venusian Arts by Mystery. Before I could start to read it, I found a project by Style called the Style Life Challenge. I quickly signed up and did every daily assignment. I posted my results and made new friends, on the Internet and in person here in Dallas, Texas. I was soon getting on the VIP lists at hot clubs and venues across town from Ghost Bar, Obar, Wish and other Dallas clubs. I started to get invited to parties and social events such as the Margarita Ball. I was starting to date several women that were of high quality, good looks, elegance and intelligence. Among them was a doctor, a lawyer, a police woman and several other professions of higher status. One other thing, I thought all of them were hot and previously would be out of my league. Not anymore. I was their prize. A smile comes across my face as I think of them. I have currently have a primary relationship with one of these women and have let the others go to concentrate on her. She has become really special to me as we have a lot in common and we get along great.

After I sit here and contemplate what happened, I have to think what has changed in my life. First, I got new clothes. This did not come cheap either. I found a professional shopper and made friends with several clerks at the hottest stores in Dallas. Next, I got a new haircut. This was a big departure for my normal cut that I’ve had for over a decade. I even got highlights. I went out and bought a black 2007 Mustang GT Convertible. I started going to a psychologist that help me with my issues of self- confidence. I took a few workshops and went sarging with several local PUAs, and AFCs. I made friends with a few naturals who had my back when I got blown out. I also read volumes of posts, books and other publications. I watched countless hours of videos. I don’t want to say that I went out sarging to practice but I went out sarging to experiment with my techniques that I learned. Gunwich, Mystery, BadBoy, Style, Ross Jeffries, Thundercat, Tyler Durden, and others were sources of ideas and inspiration.

The first key to my success was fixing my inner game….

Great post!! It's always good to hear the success stories.

So, how long have you been in the PUA community? Just wondering about the time frame.

Very inspirational.

DMAIC, huh? I work for GE but never thought of applying six sigma principles to myself. Nice blog post.
