A Reintroduction

I'm starting to feel excited about my possibilities. My story...

I am 41, a single father with primary custody of my son. I was married for 12 years. When I first got divorced, I went straight for this girl I used to work with. I will call her my one-itis, although I had no problem getting her. I had no game, didn't even know what that was. She always had a thing for me, and I always had a thing for her. It turned out to be a tumultuous relationship and I bailed after a couple of months.

From there, I went right into another relationship. I had no idea what I was doing. I finally listened to my friend who turned me on to the community. He gave me a great running start. I had a really fun year in the community with mild success. Just when I was getting good, I took a wrong turn.

The mistake I made was thinking all this game I was developing would allow me to make things work with my one-itis. We got back together, and it was still rather tumultuous.

Ross Jeffreys says that you can give a guy a brand new Testosterosa, and he'll keep driving it into the same brick wall. I realize now that regardless of all the work I've done (I really learned a lot in the game and in the relationship), she is the same old brick wall.

So here I am again. I stand before you a born-again newbie. Regardless of the success I had in the past, I am starting over. I will mostly lurk and post field reports for now, because I want to approach this with a fresh mindset.

Game on!

Welcome back Rhody. Lots of things have happened in the past couple of years. Though I can't Friday, it would be cool to hang out again and catch up.
