Newbie in Plano

Hi All. I'm new to this and have a lot of reading up to do, more than anything. Hopefully I'll be ready to go out in the field soon. About me - I moved here from Austin a couple of years ago. I played guitar for many years, from local clubs to big tours, and I really didn't have to use much game to get HBs back then, they would approach me. Now -- no band so I need a new game, ready to learn.

It's great to read up, but don't do that "more than anything." Get out and approach as many sets as you can as soon as you learn something. Each step of the way, you have to try it out in the field. You can't learn everything and try to apply it all at once.
