Older guy new to Dallas....Looking for a little help!

I've been in Dallas just over a year, but I moved here from Michigan and was in a long distance relationship until about 6 months ago. I'm 42, and have always had a tough time meeting women. I've read mystery, the Game, David Dicarlo, and several others.....Just was never able to put anything into practice. I live near Uptown......
