Hello from a newbie

I'm pretty much a newbie at this. for the past week or so, i've been reading a lot of pua material by mystery, style, adam lyons, swingcat, david deangelo, and many more. so far, i seem to have theoretically grasped the overall idea of pick up. the next step is to get these ideas into practice.
I actually did my first official sarge yesterday when I went to the club with my siblings. for the most part, i hung around them. But when I wasn't with my siblings, I ended up approaching two sets that night. the first set was a crash and burn, while the second set was a success. I got the girl's number. When I went back home, I later analyzed what i could've done better. I'm not going to do a field report on this sarge, but I'll definitely post future ones on the site. I don't intend on calling her because my goal for the night was to hook at least one set, and i ended up getting number. Plus, I want to practice the first steps of pick up some more before going in on the further stuff. I'm not in a hurry. Honestly, I felt weird after grabbing the girl's number for, this is the very first time this has happened to me. I have a lot to learn, and I hope I get better.
well, it's good to know there are other guys here in dallas trying to get better at picking up chicks because sometimes, I feel like i'm the only one. I told my brothers to give this pick up thing a try, and all they did was laugh at me. Hopefully, I'll get enough results to convince them into this game. Nice to meet you all.
