(reposted from pualounge, it seems that dallaslair.org is more active in the Dallas area than that site anyways)
Hey guys, glad to be here. I found this site through Googling for wings, I'm trying to get back into this thing.
I'm 19 year old from Plano, TX, and picked up David Deangelo's book back when I was about 15 after a couple of fucked up relationships (I got the money by doing freelance writing, which I still enjoy). I have had quite a few relationships at an early age because I was something of a natural when I wasn't interested in the girl as much (alpha, cocky, and funny around my friends), but I become a total supplicating idiot when I was. The concepts in DD's book were somehow extremely hard to wrap my head around as I had been brought up thinking the exact opposite all my life. Eventually I got it, and it completely changed my perspective on the world. When I applied the material (on and off over several years) I saw some definite improvements. Then I forgot most of that when I did a brief semester at UT Austin and saw lots of action (it is pretty easy to hook up there if you know people), but most of that was due to liquid courage rather than "skills". Not that I minded, of course.
Anyways I'm back in Dallas now because I felt that prolonged academics is not the path for me. I dropped out and am now involved in a startup I'm very excited in. I am extremely busy with that and my other passions during my free time (photography, pool) but I'd still like to be able to improve in the dating aspect of my life, especially as how I don't have the UT party crutch to hold me up now.
So I guess I'm a beginner, but I'm starting out okay. Would love to meet up with some of the guys and learn from all of you.
